The Academic Librarian's Thorn (aka- faculty status or not)

I am writing a paper for one of my MLS classes on the topic of faculty status for librarians or tenure for librarians. I haven't really formed my own opinion on this- there's good and bad points for both sides of the argument.

I jokingly call myself "faff" because on main campus, I am faculty, but here at the law school, I am staff. The only way I see the "faculty" coming into play is with my paycheck- paid every 2 weeks without filling out a timesheet (as staff must do).

I am tired- taking these courses and working full time has drained me, and it's all I can do to get out of bed from day to day.

But (I hope) it will get better :)
